Fear Fuelled Faith

Every day, is a day of opportunity to enter God’s rest. The writer of Hebrews urges us not to let this opportunity pass. This was the subject of Chris’s message last Sunday. The Hebrews passage shows us further that, in entering God’s rest, we must strive in faith and the fear of God — we must strive with vigilance and in community, and being mindful that we will someday give an account of our lives to our all-knowing God. This was a sobering yet uplifting reminder for new and seasoned Christians alike — which we received & reflected on together throughout the songs and fellowship in our service.
