Playing With Power

Nick Gonyea preached from Judges 10:6 – 12:7. We looked at how the Israel resorted to power play, and tried to manipulate God to do what they wanted . Power plays stems from insecurity.

How do we avoid it?

We look back and see how God saved and secured his people. He works on behalf of his people. In the person of Jesus, God will provide all we need, and challenges us not to be anxious. God is faithful to keep delivering his people. Even hardships in this life come, God is faithful to provide us what we truly need so that we don’t have to be insecure. Jesus has defeated our greatest insecurity, death.
