The God Who Keeps His Promise

Kyle Essary preached from Genesis 23:1-20. As we walked through the significance of this passage, we saw how Abraham lived and died standing on God’s promises. He saw some of them fulfilled in his lifetime but not all. Similarly, we are people who are living in the already and not yet. Jesus has secured all of God’s promises but we haven’t fully receive them yet. Therefore, we can live by faith because of what Jesus has done, and live in joyful expectations of what He will do.

We continue to live in this broken world, pointing people to Jesus, who will come again and restore us and this world.
