Why Elders?

In the second installment of our “Essentially, GCC” sermon mini-series, we looked at the role of Elders in GCC.

Elders shepherd the flock — by providing guidance and teaching, praying for covenant partners, overseeing the ministry of the church, and modelling repentance, forgiveness & reconciliation.

We as a church ought to respond in a posture of humility to God’s design for eldership, taking after Jesus’s own humility.
