Called to Unity for Maturity

Massimo Gei, one of our elders, preached from Ephesians 4:1 – 16 today, showing us in the passage the what and how of unity so that we can grow in maturity as a church. Unity is a gift from God, and as a church, we are called to maintain this unity and help each other grow in maturity.

We are called to walk in unity, have a posture of humility, with the basis of unity being in Christ. The picture of unity is that God gave us equipping and serving people, and both are needed to build up the body. Speak the truth in love. We don’t have the liberty to be either or but we have to live with the tension of being honest and yet kind.
