Finding God’s Kindness in Tumultuous Times

Chris Abner, one of our elders, preached from Genesis 38, “Finding God’s kindness in tumultuous times.” God’s kindness to us, wretched sinners that we are, should lead us to repentance. Just like Judah in this passage, God’s kindness to him was a gift. Repentance is not merely shame or sorrow of sin, it’s a redirection of human’s will to pursue the one who is righteous, Jesus.
