God Honoring Lament

Andy Dawson, one of our covenant partners preached from Psalm 22. Through this psalm, we learn about accepting our brokenness, understanding God’s holiness and resting in Christ’ deliverance.
Lament is different than crying because lament is a form of prayer. It is more than just the expression of sorrow or the venting of emotion. Lament talks to God about pain. And it has a unique purpose: trust.
To cry is human, to lament is Christian.
