The Forgiving and Promise Keeping God

In Nehemiah 9:1-37, we saw the Israelites confessing of their unfaithfulness to God, their tendency to stray and disobey God even after He delivers them time and time again. Nick preached about God’s faithfulness in 3 ways – through covenant, through judgment and by way of promise. Despite the inconsistency of the Israelites, God remains steadfast and faithful. What a sobering reminder that God indeed will judge us for our disobedience; yet what liberating comfort it is to know that when we are unfaithful, He is faithful through it all.
