Redemptive Community

In Matthew 18 yesterday, we looked at what a redemptive community in church looks like. We were reminded that forgiveness is costly, and forgiveness is necessary. Like repentance, forgiveness is a process. When you are faced with the decision on whether or not you will forgive, you are choosing whether or not you are going to make the payment, or if you're going to take a payment. D.A. Carson – "… those who are forgiven must forgive, lest they show themselves incapable of receiving forgiveness."
