Already… Not Yet

Chris Abner, one of our elders, preached from Genesis 49:1-50:14, with a sermon titled, “Already… Not Yet”.

Jacob showed his faith whilst at the end of his life,  still in Egypt, he believed that God will fulfill His promise that Israel will enter Canaan. He blessed his sons with portions of the land they have not yet enter and specifically instructed his descendants to promise to bury him in Canaan. He believed in the already, but not yet.

As believers, we too are living in the already and not yet. We are assured of our salvation and can live in faith and hope for the final restoration of our fellowship with Christ.
