Questions On Divorce

Kyle Essary preached to us from Matthew 19:1–12 on the question of divorce. In Jesus’s careful answers to the Pharisees’ questions, we saw God’s beautiful design for marriage, being a life-long, covenantal commitment to one’s spouse. We also saw how singlehood could be a God-focused calling for some believers. At the same time, we also saw God’s precious grace for hard hearts and for those who have been through or been affected by divorce. As we closed our gathering, we left with a refreshed sense of gratitude for God’s blessing of families, and determined to live more & more in accordance with his design!
